Hi.

When I got it (a couple months ago) was very greenish and totally different from the female that came with him. But now..
The 1st half of the dorsal fin is black, but only on the upper end as opposed to the one of the female taht is totally black; on the other hand it has blue dots.

So, I´m confused as regards the gender. Can you help?

Sorry for the very blurry pics. Had to use my lousy cell phone

I only said female cause the lack of spangles in its tail.

Female is also my impression, based on those pix above, João.

ye id say female, i would have a lot longer trailors, at least my male did at that size

Thanks for you replies.
That was my impression as well but wanted to have it confirmed.
The behaviour also points that way: when I got them, this one harassed the other - smaller - female (the only one that was supposed to be a female!) over and over to the point I had to separate them. I removed this one to another tank (isolation) and 2 weeks later put them together again. Now they co-exist because there are several other fish that act as dithers spreading this one´s agression, but the other is very submissive.

I have to try to change the other one for a male asap, but it´s not easy to find one in my whereabouts.
