Surf Fishing

That last pick looks Photoshopped too. I don't think that rackle could handle that marlin very well at all. They are fast, powerful fish. It looks more like that gear was more tuna oriented, not an 800lb marlin.

yeh no doubt

I also had this image from The Old Man and The Sea come to mind.

So you land this fish and then you try to bring it into land a monster marlin being dragged behind your surfboard leaking its lifeforce into the water in a variety of fluids, since death brings about the release of all kinds of fluids and solids. A very terrifying thought in my books. It is one thing to catch fish from a boat but from a surf board you are like steve irwin baby. I mean that in a kind a strange good way not in the way that I hope ya get eaten.

Now one other thing that comes to mind since man knows more about the surface of the moon than they do about the ocean. What if you actually hook something like a giant squid or some other monster in the ocean what then, who has actually caught who. What if the thing you hook on the line is way more powerful than you suppose off you go with wind surfing of another type.

I think someone told that guy about "surf fishing" and he took is as "surfing fishing" someone should help sort him out. Also, how often to marlin that damn big come in close enough to shore to be caught by someone who has paddled out on a surf board?

I went out the other night and caught a couple sharks.

i went shark fishing on padre island memorial weekend. didnt catch any sharks cause the current was messed up from some storm somewhere else. but did catch lots of whiteing however you spell it. and some spanish mackeral surf fishing. fun stuff for someone that lives 10 hours from the coast. im planning on going shark fishing again at the end of the summer.

shark fishing is extremely fun, just please practice catch and release, there are soo few sharks left in our oceans.

I love fishing for blues, not really good eating, but they are a great catch!

Just caught some good 10 pound blues last weekend 6 of them, busting bait on the surface IN SPRING! if thats not cool i dont know what is!
