What does TDS stand for?(<---noob):nilly:

Here's a neat little tidbit. Pleco's were one of the very first fish shipped. I'm not sure of the species but becuase of their ability to breath air allowed exporters to conveniently wrap them in wet news paper and send them on thier way.

There are a couple of species that can live a very suprisingly long time out of water. Wouldn't be suprised if it was Hypostomus plecostomus, or similar.

There are even some species that can survive the dry season in a muddy hole that they dig for several months.

Yup, kind of reminds me of lungfish. Another reason why these are such brilliant fish!
