i have some wild scalares - but the diamemas rip the fins to shreds - so i have them in a species / breeding set up now, gorgeous fish.


with regards 4-eyes - various sites say they are brackish fish?

but what I've read suggests they sometimes prefer brackish water ?

Wow, I can't believe noone reccomended butterfly fish. They generally reach up to 4 inches.

they are african. not SA... they come mainly from african river basins...
