Surface fish

Well like the title says i am looking for a fish for the top of my water column . I have 230 gal tank 72+22+32 so you can see it is a narrow. Ps it is a ply tank that i got the idea from this great site.

Sorry in the tank there is a oscar and 3 sevrums 2 tinfoil barbs and a bicher .

The arowanas tend to swim around the surface.

No, you could probably get a jardini and it would be fine for many many years. I'm getting one for my 125 and you have a bigger tank than me.

African butterfly fish.. but your oscars might not like them very much but I have one and he has done great!

Well my only concern is that the tank is only 22 inches wide and there would not be room for it to turn around when it is fully grown.

Full grown Aro takes quite a number of years. You can always up grade then.
