This makes me feel better...I was kind of worried about it actually bursting. How can you tell their sex?

It did feel cool to feel the vibrations in my hand, thought it might have been a distress signal of me holding it:

?I’m around daily. Actually feel like I’ve been posting a lot lately

I can’t tell their sex, it’s just a thought I’ve been having.

Aye, yes, it is me who has not been active lately so it’s been a while since I’ve seen you or so.

Maybe I’ll look into sexing them..maybe I can get them breeding. I know I seen someone on this site breeding them, I just cannot remember who.

liar!!!

or maybe I’m just catching up on some older threads..but I feel like I always see your comments. I was just reading your Wallace thread

Is that shape normal? I once had a lizard pleco and a jaguar cat look like that but both died because of bloat.

No, I do not think this is normal for a banjo cat (unless it’s eggs, which I still don’t think it would be this big).

I think it ate way too much rapshey and pellets

Well just in case, keep an eye on it. So far I only know it's normal for Doradids.

So far from what I experienced, when 'hidey' catfish do abnormal stuff eg. stay out in the open its not looking good.

It wasn’t out in the open, it was hiding in a huge pile of mulm. I saw it’s fat head sticking out and seen it was angled downward so I “fished” it out of hiding to see that it couldn’t lay flat on the substrate bc of its huge gut.

I have been adding extra food at night to ensure the zebras were eating and this is about the time I add food for them...I assume it was lurking to snag more food.
