Pretty sure its their first spawn....considering how psyched up Phil was when i pointed them out to him!! haha! He wasn't able to siphon them all out, so there was MORE than 1000 in there... Thing that surprised me the most was the lack of aggression from the snooks towards him when he siphoned them out. If it had been dovii, he woulda been TORN UP!

Yep. it's the snooks 1st spawn. 24 hours in the nursery tank and no losses, so far (at least none have been noted on the sponge filter).

The other 'tilapia'-type-fish fry are growing like weeds. I need to research those fish out. Especially since the pair have just cleared another nest site and took over the large flower pot.
