I have a friend, who has more or likely a sick discus I can't tell what is.
would you guys possible know what it could be if I forward you the photos
that he took. it might just be the color strain. but it's a yellow discus
with a pink spot, and to me it looks stuned and the photos it looks like the fins are black.

Please post the photos here. It is better to get a wide range of views, no matter the confusion. There are several members here willing to help.

because I don't know how to save them right, from a email. I tried to save them
and it didn't work. I think I'm going to be starting the tank over, and that he will be starting his tank over :(.

now I'm having a problem with my own discus, 5 are died in the 135. the signs my discus are showing are they all are closely swimming together close to the top, there fins are moving fast, losing color, and some of them got what looks like cut marks. it seems mine have some type of infection.

I would euthanize the fish in the photos. Without a lot more information, I can't really say for certain what may be wrong with your fish, but I would bet it's water quality related.

Hi Joe.. What do the API tests show as to amo, nitrite and nitrate in your 135.. I know you were having problems with the readings.. The nitrite should be blue not purple.. I wonder if the tank has cycled.. How often are you doing the water changes and how much in that tank.. How many discus etc are in there now.. Are the wilds in there as well?? Can you post pics of yours with the cuts?? Hard to tell anything from your friends photo except that does not look like a happy healthy fish.. Sorry but the photos are too poor to tell anything else..
Concentrate on your fish and your tank.. you need to get that straightened out..If your water is not right, your fish are gonna stress and die.. So water changes are gonna be your best friend right now. get back to us with the info. Meanwhile don't medicate.. as we don't know what the problem is.. just keep the temps up and do water changes. Get back to us as soon as you can and we will try and help you so you don't lose too many more fish... Sue
