GRAHAM, Wash. -- A car prowling suspect who was critically hurt in a fight over a car in Graham has a criminal record that includes charges of possessing a stolen car and stolen mail, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.
The 27-year-old had been due in court Wednesday but instead was in critical condition at a hospital after he was caught allegedly trying to steal a 1967 Camero outside a Graham home.
The owner and a roommate heard a noise about 3:45 a.m. and went out to stop the man. Neighbors said they looked out their windows and see the fight.
Spokesman Ed Troyer said the man stopped breathing and had no pulse when medics arrived.
The owner and roommate were not arrested.
