I have found Dummies to be a good book for quick references.
Another good book I don't think has been mentioned yet is The Marine Aquarium Handbook: Beginner to Breeder by Martin Moe. This is a required text for the Aquarium Science Program i'm in. It's a little out dated and out of print but you can get it really cheap on Amazon.
