the holes are quite odd, fins often heal very fast. Pretty unique and cool if you ask me. Does he have drop eye, and how long has he had it and did you try to fix it anyway. I just got a silver and am learning as much as I can. Thanks

The holes in the fin are a perfect circle as if it was punched through or something. He has drop eye on the right only. Nothing you can do to fix that. That's just the way silvers are.

I would be surprised if the aro actually swallowed any of the gravel. I've watched mine expell the gravel/sand while keeping the shimp/food in their mouth. Either way there isn't anything that you can do about it.

Mine does the same thing... he should be fine.
