Up and running!:headbang2NOT SCAPED YET! I have everything in the tank....I will begin arranging soon.....i just wanted to get everyone in the tank. Probably would have been easier to setup before I added the rest of the water but I had limited time due to work. The lighting is very dim though the water in not perfectly clear yet. I need to add more LED.....Pics are after being setup one hour! I know this is not a big tank by MFK standards but it dominates this room!! This thing is huge. My wife is speechless.

DYI stand. DYI canopy. All LED lighting. Hope you enjoy! I am.

Running a XP3 and Bio350 for filtration.....(in the market for another cannister) Jaeger 300 watt heater, Marineland Doublebright 36-48" LED lighting plus Tru Lumen moonlights both white and blue......Stock is ecclectic!! Payara, Dats, Red Hooks, Frontosa.....check my signature for the specs if you like!!! I measured the bigger fish during the move and updated everyones progress. I plan to add a Ecoxotic Panarama module to supplement the lighting....maybe two eventually. They have more punch then the Marineland and should penetrate the deep water better. I plan on adding a Eheim 2217 to complete the filtration. Thanks for reading! i welcome comments and suggestions!

Once the lighting and decor is set i am gonna post a start to finish thread from the past 7 weeks since i bought the tank on E-bay.

That's a sweet tank! The tat's gonna be happy in there. I like the driftwood. Canopy is nice, too.

Wow, impressive! I have the same tank, but I don't have a canopy. Your photos have convinced me I need to make one too!

Awesome job Sir!

Nice Tank but WAY to tall for a Large Fish.....

Larger fish need length of tank to swim.... otherwise you are Cramping them....

JMO though.... Most fish would prefer to swim forward not up and down...
I have noticed most of my fish taking advantage of the height! I have no aro's, gars, cichla....My Dats are the only fish that may someday out grow this tank and it will take many years!
