Swap Complete! Introducing my new 150 extra tall!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So far so good. Overnight the water completely cleared. the dim shimmering lighting reminds me of display at a The Norwalk Aquarium. A bit dim for me....i plan on brightening up one side of the tank and keeping the other like it is. The shoal of silver dollars are behaving much better with the increased swimming room....a real pack now! I managed to get the massive driftwood to stay down. i will scape today and get more ;lights in a week or two. Thanks MFK for all the info to make this build possible!:D

Tank is scaped and more neatly set up now.....i painted the back and wall/side black....it looks great but is really tough to photograph. It reflects images of the room very easily. The tank has some visable shallow scratches which complicate it further. In person it looks real good if a bit dim as mentioned.....gonna get more lights for my b-day next month. Here are some pics with just the LED....and then some with a 48" single tube and the LED. (it will not fit in my canopy!) Hate the reflections!

I guess you need a 180 or bigger to get much feedback these days!!! This is the biggest tank I could fit in my office!!:headbang2
