My sons ten gallon has a betta, two tiny albino cories and a pair of mosquito fish. It came with a penguin 75. The flow was weak and I wasn't happy with the job it was doing. I bought an AC 30 on clearance and am impressed by the difference in flow and the additional media capacity. I just shoved the bio wheel of the old filter into the new one.
I've been having issues with brown algae and was hoping some additional flow would help. My other larger tank hasn't had any issues. I'm also planning on putting the cories in my community when they grow a little and I increase the number and replacing them with an oto cat. Just thought I'd share lol
