It looks great and I bet those CLs are really liking it too

thanks and i think they do im not too sure why but they seem darker now:confused:

not too sure why but i cant seem to get it as crispy as before :( i moved the airstones and everything. not too happy right now! i like the look of sand but im not used to my water looking so murky.

Maybe it's too fine and doesn't settle completly.. the PFS I have is a medium grain and it settles quickly... Would you say it's really fine?

I think it's been plenty of time for it to settle. My guess is when you took the gravel out, you also took out a lot of beneficial bacteria, which made your water gloomy. Try adding more biological filtration to your filters.

The sand looks great by the way.

looks awsome....what kind of filters do u run on that tank?
i have been thinking of doing sand but im worried about it getting in my filters.
