I work at a restruant were I give an older gentlemen coffee EVERYDAY lol And he offered me a fish tank for thirty five dollars with everthing included. I didnt even know what it looked like and i told him I would take it, how could anyone resist that! He didnt know how many gallons it was but he gave me an estimate with his hands
It was enough for me. So heres my new tank, dubbed the pregnant tank. I still dont know how many gallons it is, I filled it up with five gallon buckets to get it cleaned. I got up to twenty gallons and it still wasnt full so Im assuming between thirty or forty. It came with a crap load of stuff including a fish spine, kinda gross. The filter is huge, its rated from 30 to sixty, pretty sweet i thought. My plans is to make a cichlid tank out of it, smaller cichlids of course. I want to decorate the whole back of it with rocks and caves then the dome would be free swimming space. Heres a picture of it. Its not filled yet, were moving in a week or two so theres really no point yet.

It reeks like it was filled with salt water though. Anyone got a tip to get rid of the salt?
