Vinegar will clean it out great for you. It will get the salt off too. Rinse it out a few times, like with the hose, afterward. But it works great and is much safer than bleach. Great find.

haha iv been in that situation, he tried to get me to leave my boy friend for his son. I told him no way lol The guy goes to auctions and yard sales and sells things to other people. I just happened to be one of them Im super excited to set it up, I gotta wait like two more weeks though ugh It reeks like it was filled with salt water though. Anyone got a tip to get rid of the salt?

Make it into a hardy native tank with orangespot sunfish, common shiners and slender madtoms.

How deep is it in the middle? It's hard to imagine something that shaped. Ive seen betta bowls shaped similar to be mounted on walls but those were only a little bigger than the betta cups themselves...
