personally, I would either get a day gecko or a scorpion of some kind. desert hairy's are cool. or you could go with what simonL originally posted and go with a yellow anaconda or something similar like a retic, a burm, an african rock python, or if you want to get creative, a full grown ally snapper would do great in a 5.5 tank

for a 10, yes, for a 5.5, no
