Typical behavior of a stressed arowana.

If your water paramters are good, I don't know if a water change is in order. He is already stressed enough from the change. I would just keep the lights out for a few days. If you do need to do a water change, I would 2 2-3 small (10%) water changes over a couple days. Raising the temp should be OK.

stress coat is a water conditioner that can help rebuild the slime coat. This can reduce unnecessary diffusion, supposedly reducing stress by 40%.
It works wonders with rays, and has helped my silver and jardini during moves.

I would recommend finding the source of stress first. Unless there is damage of some kind to the fish, slime coat won't help too much.

Well bad new when I woke up this morning... I think the stress was to much. After three days of bein in the tank he died :/ so I called the store from where I bought him and they were very nice and let me buy another on for half price. I put more oxygen in the tank (bubbler and circulation pump) and crossed my fingers! My New arowanas name is bruiser.
