Are you still using the crushed coral substrate? That may have been What stressed your aro out cause it can really raise the ph in a tank. Nice aro btw

Yeah but when I took my dead aro in to the lfs we checked my water and it was a little under 8 and he keeps his at about 7. With bruiser (haha) he said to pour small cups of my water into the bag to get him I guess you can say ready for the pH change instead of just dumping him in there. The guy said that the crushed coral should be ok an that I shouldn't have to change it. My new aro isn't swimming low at all and has actually been right at the water line ever since I first put him in the tank. And thankyou. I'll try to get better pics showing his coloration more.

I'm having the same issue with mine. Out of nowhere today I realized he was kind of just floating with the water flow more then swimming. And going low often. The water seems to be a little colder than usual, but the herter is working perfect. So im gonna turn it up... Has anyone been able to fix this or does this usually end in death? help.

Kristen you would be better off starting your own thread on the subject as most people will not read through an old thread. Need to post more info on how long youve had the aro, tank size, aro size and water parameters in order for anyone to give valid advice.
