Lady who manages/maintains the aquariums at a certain Cabelas Sporting Goods outlet told me all I had to do was be SCUBA certified to dive her tanks, no charge...
That and be willing to scrub algae and do maintenance while in the tank.
No free ride!
She and others have been very nice and taken me on private 'behind the scenes' tours when asked nicely and told of my hobby.
She was the only one to invite me to dive her tanks tho, I expressed the interest after seeing her's and others gear hanging in a alcove.
I've been to the aquarium at the Mall, not shabby, tho I did raise concerns over some Oscars with very very advanced HITH/HLLE that were in with the Mata Mata.
Nice behind the scenes tour there, but they couldn't take the time/effort to really show me their filtration
for 30 bones, sure I would do it once, but I dont think I would have an urge to do it that second time.I would be more likley to pay ten bucks and just sit and watch all the big fish swim for hours lol
