Swimbaits are becomeing one of the new baits that are catching big fish all over the world. Most people are focused on Large Mouth and Small Mouth Bass with these new baits. This is going to be my 1st year throw swimbaits and I just got my swimbait combo all set and ready to go.

Lure- Monster Jack(7inch) made by fish arrow (2oz)
Line- 30lb Sufix performance Braid
Shimano Clarus Casting Rod 7'9"
Medium Heavy action 3/8 to 6oz Lure
Reel- Abu Garcia 5600 C5

The Rod is basically ment for Salmon and Steel Head. I just dont feel like dropping 150+ dollars on a swimbait rod when this one will do the job.
This is my 1st swim bait. The monster jack is a wake bait and should get me a monster this year. Ill be buying more swimbaits when ever I get money.
For all you Pike lovers out there. This lure will be going no where near pike. Really dont feel like getting teeth marks all in it and possiable lossing it.
:D

Just got this today from a friend bought it from him used. He only used it 2 times so its brand new to me. It 9 1/2inch, weight is 1.25oz. It in there new frog color and its a wake bait. Ever one is hand made and hand painted

cant see the pics.

I fish with the rubber swimbaits on occasion, they are good when action is slow. Lots of movement. It's a good tool to use, but I catch most of my bass on Long Cast Rapalas and Plastic worms.

zorro where do you fish

I live in CT. I fish everything for little farm ponds to tourny lakes. I fish mostly moodus, bashan, beseck and other ponds here and there. Now that we got the new bass boat ill be fishing lakes like Candlewood and the CT river.

I have a new swimbait coming in tmw. Ill post some pics up.

Yea let us know I fished rubber swimbaits for a few years and had alot of luck with them. The past few years Ive been sticking to spinners cause its easy to get a few casts in between helping my two sons with fishing. Now that theyre a little older I got more time to mess with my own rig
