Swimming with JDs

Sorry to dig up an older thread.....

But I have a couple questions. I want to recreate this as best as I can. Do you know the fish living with the JDs? Those are Mollies? Do you know the catfish? Is there a tetra they live with? Lastly do you know whats plants were there?

I will be getting my fish from the Wet Spot, it's my LFS, save the JDs they will be from a member of this forum.

They will be going into a 125gal, 6ft tank. Getting 6 JD fry and kepping a pair, maybe 2f 1m. I am thinking of Swordtails (Xiphophorus hellerii) as the dithers since they are bigger than Molly's (Poecilia sphenops) that they have.

The mollies are commonly called sail fin mollies and get @7" as adults, they are either Poecilia velifora, or yucateca in my videos.
All the sail fin mollies are close cousins so most any species available would work.


The catfish are Rhamdia guatemalensis
