This is not accurate. The vaccine for H1N1 is not any more expensive than the vaccine for avian flu, or the past years influenza vaccine.

Secondly, the elderly and young are not at a greater risk. The only risk of death from this virus is to those who have strong immune systems as you can go into cytocaustic crisis (spelling?) where you effectively give yourself an auto immune disease. Your immune system overreacts to the virus and starts attacking everything.

Lastly, this flu is not "swine" flu. All influenza strains originate in birds, where they are transmitted typically to pigs, and from there to humans. Tthe obvious outlier to this being avian flu which transfers directly from fowl to humans.

Most all flu virii come from either south/central america, or southeast asia due to agricultural practices of raising fowl and swine in close proximity.

Lastly, more people died from last years flu than have been suspected of being infected with swine flu. This is hype, and propaganda, same thing as the 80's when they called for massive outbreaks of the hanta virus and multiple other maladies.

Wake up people....It is not that bad, cook your meat properly. Remember West Nile? SARS? Avian Bird Flu? Mad Cow? Yes, there are diseases. No, you don't need to live your life in fear of them....
