Switching to sand... PlaySand or All Purpose?

Yeah, I was tempted to go with tahitian moon because I looooove it's look, but instead I paid $8 for 100lbs. of sand that looks just like pool filter sand only slightly darker (which is what I was looking for) I couldn't justify paying that much for black sand, but I will use it for my next small tank like a 10g or something.
 
can you post pictures of the sand you guys are talking about. i have some good size gravel right now. but i like the look of sand. can you also post brand names and the prices you guys paid?
 
Sure thing, I'll try to have the pis up by tonight... it will be a comprehensive post of what I've got.
 
I tried the play sand in a small tank to test. In my trial run, a lot of sand would get sucked up in my python. Even though I liked the color, I finally went with crushed quartz pool filter sand. It is coarser and it stays in the tank better, for me, during vacuuming.

Thanks. It is a 36g. Here is a pic before sand.
It has my wife's favorite fish, SA Earth movers and then anything with orange to color cordinate with the room.
