I was considering getting some more sand, as with some live rock, as I think I could do more aquascaping :D I was told to keep the lights on for the coraline on my rock. I use distilled water from the store to do waterchanges.

Watchmans look really cool. I am definitely getting a single goby, with a shrimp. Final desicions are going to be hard.

yeah i agree, i had a hard time deciding as well lol. gets some more pics when everything is said and done so we can all owww and ahhh lol.

I'm still debating if I should get a digicam or not. The thing that gets me is, I'm only buying this phone to take pictures of my tank, wondering if this is a good investment :P

Went to the store today to look around, SO tempting to buy something, and you feel bad when you walk out empty handed.

Should I get a peppermint shrimp for now?

I feel as the peppermint would be fine in that tank right away. They are a pretty hardy shrimp and dont usually require a lot of attention. Even if you put a watchman goby in there down the road, they would get along just fine.

I use a digital camera to take all my pics, I like the digital cameras that are like the old school nykon style. I dont know much about cameras but they take good pics of fish that are moving around and what not.

Right now im working on getting some pics of my 65 gallon up in a thread.

Here are pics of the purple stuff growing on my rock, and another pic of the mint green paste.

thats some really nice live rock. i think your going to have a very healty looking tank. keep up all the great work and what ever you do, never ever give up :)

Made the mistake of getting a camelback shrimp. I hear they are not reef-safe. The store will not take the shrimp back. What should I do?

hmm, thats a good question. My best bet would be to find someone who has a tank they can go back into, or give it to a different store they would take it back. Most stores are good at taking livestock and some even give you a fish for a trade, just look around and you might find something.

Ok, I talked to the owner, and he said he was sorry and will replace the shrimp, whew!

I will be adding a cleaner shrimp (red and yellow), and added a mushroom rock with some tiny mushrooms on it.
