Had him for over a month now and finally got some decent pictures of him. He will hide when I approach the tank but if I sit right in front of the tank for 5-10 seconds he comes right back out and investigates me

Great pickup , mine is still doing well and is as active as ever. As long as you have some hiding places he should do well. I have heard that they can be quite aggressive I even had someone tell me that theirs killed his Arowana but mine gets along fine with all of my catfish, he even shares his cave with my platysilurus mucosus and hemibagrus olyroides and he has never shown any aggression.

Superb mate! I picked up mine from the LFS for £15, the guy who owned the store had no clue what it was, the second I saw the white fish I knew what it was and offered him £10, he said it’s gotta be worth £20 so we met in the middle lol!
