Out of 6-7 larger euptera I had, one had a notably blunter snout:

Seems to be a deformity caused by hormone-breeding of euptera or so Steve Grant concluded in his report.
I agree with the hormone deformity as well. You can also see the same in clown loaches bred using hormones.
