I think that my syno may be coming to the end of it's life 8-( . He/she has gone from a usual dark brown to a washed out light brown and seems to have less energy. I have had him/her for about 12 year and have grown from under an inch to six.

i had a red tail shark that started to get gray when he got old..color is a significant aging factor.. be interesting to learn about.. i hope he has many many more years left though.fishman256;3330193; said:I will try. I have read that the lifespan of Synodontis nigrita is 8-10 years.
