You had a lot of action{not always good} going on.. sorry for you loss of Synodontis.. i know they are hard to get good pictures of because they are usually hiding .. but try.. because we would love to see them all.

here is my baby Synodontis..what ever he is???

here is my baby Synodontis.. anyone know his species?? And another of my older Synodontis..Frontosia...

yeah, my 75 was going to be a Tangy tank with Synos. I was so mad when I came home 1 day to find my bichir with the perticola's head stuck.

your lil one looks like an Ocellifer.

the worst part is the price of some of them. 1 shop just got some multipunctatus in so might just get 1 or 2. I'm not a bottom guy but i like these for some reason...

i got one of my synodontis eupterus. common i know, but mine is almost
8" :) not including is long tail streamer that you can not appreciate in this shot.

wow i cannot believe a bichir would chomp down on the Syn. because of the bony spine etc.. did the bichir actually eat it? I like cat fish of all types.. never thought about it in the beginning but then they just started to appeal to me..and plecos too. I hope the little guy is a Ocellifer..that would be nice since i only have one other and he is older.. thank you.

He is very good looking because he seems lighter in color then mine and you can see his pattern of spots better, very nice picture! Thanks

it had its head. The petricola was the most active of all syno's, so when i didnt see it moving I went to look closer. That's when I saw the bichir had it's head and reached in to get it hoping it just happened. he let loose but it was too late, it sufficated.

lfs has some nice size multi's that I might get this weekend.

I just got my first bichir about 2 months ago...i was so surprised when i saw it chewing its food like a dog...then it would chomp the food so hard it would fling it..and would have to go and find where the food landed.. it was so amusing to watch him eat..but i did not realize it also would eat other fish in the same way.. :irked:
