Anyone with experience keeping them?

Looking for information on activity levels, preferred temperature, aggression. Im no expert on syno cats and im reading a lot of different, conflicting info on these cats.

I sure like the look of them though. Looking for a good bottom feeder to replace my jaguar cat who sadly died recently. I think my water is a little hard for the liosomodoras and i want something a little more active and showy.

I've never seen anything on MFK about these interesting-colored synos. There are several hybrids, beware, that mimic this genuine species.

I'd ask on PCF, where plenty of advice is possible.

Will do. I took a chance and ordered a threesome from divers den. From everything i have found they should fill my niche well. I'll update with some pics when they deliver to hopefully get a positive ID.

Snapped some quick pics of a couple of these little guys. They are 1.5-2".

Not the greatest quality shots but from what i can tell two of them definitely look like the genuine article. The larger, darker one is oddly eupterus-looking though. Neverless theyre nice cats and im enjoying them already.

Same time i got the argenteus. You chewed me out on my celebration thread if you recall. I just couldnt get a picture until now. They were secretive for awhile.
