super. Hey what are you feeding them and how often? Ive got 2 of them, seem to be growing good, also with big silvers lol, so just curious what yours eat.
Great looking fish. Their colors look like they are coming out nicely and your male is getting a nice shape to him.
thanks for all the kind words everyone. they are currently in a 150 with some silver dollars and a common pleco. as far as feeding they get a little of everything, hikari sinking pellets, nls large fish formula, spirulina flakes, frozen krill, bloodworms, etc. i try to mix things up. as far as breeding the male has shown interest in both females, but only one of the females has produced eggs. she did so twice within the span of a month. the first time by the time i noticed them they were already white with fungus, and the second time i think the male was stressing her out and she ate them. i love that the colors on these guys change so much, you never really know what you are going to get day to day, for me that is especially the case with the females. thanks again for the compliments i hope i am doing a good job with them.
