I have a 4" NASTY synspilum, it's getting to be a problem because he beats up everything he's with, severums WAY larger and thicker than him, a 3" flowerhorn, and I'm getting worried because I didn't want to end up giving my 99 gallon all to a 4" fish, but I can't stand to part with him, because hes he fish that got me interested in cichlids. 8 months ago, I saw him in an LFS and thought how beautiful he is. I went out and bought out a tank just for cichlids. 2 months ago I saw him again and decided to buy him, because he got me into cichlids 6 months before.

I would move the servs and I bet things will change w/ that FH once it gets bigger. What are the dimentions of the 99g? My syn is fine w/ tankmates in a 6' 150g. I had to get rid of a t. ellioti (7'') in that tank, because he beat up my syn and everything else. Sometimes you have to give up fish or make some changes, because of the aggression.

So I was thinking some of the following fish as stock(also males are more aggressive than females). Of course, not all of them! That would be majorly overstocked.
-parachromis or nandopsis genus fish
-Red devil
-umbee
-butti
-gt or JD
- another vieja or paratheraps fish
-What ever you suggest!
Please guys, bear with me as I am just throwing out random ideas. :) please no mean comments about how stupid these ideas are, or how overstocked it is, or even if your feeling bold, how stupid I am! I am a cichlid NOOB, please be nice.

no butti
no parachromis

It's 48" long by 18" wide by 25" high. 95 gallons actually on tank calculator.
