I have 6 Synspilum about 6" each. Would like to end up with one breeding pair. How does the process of me going from 6 down to 2 go? In regards to getting a pair that works

My experience is that the fish will do the selection for you. Once two pair off, move the others.

I had a group of 8 Midas it took 1-2 years to form a pair. I didn't know they formed and they killed everything in the tank including 6 vieja lol
