To be honest Paul, I can't really blame them- the law is there for a reason. you see this matter is not for AVA to decide but the receiving country to decide. i suppose if Admond had mentioned to you you could have voiced your concern and its Sods law that it had to happen to an expensive fish!! why can't it happen to a RTG

I do agreed to you to a certain extend HP. i will assist to take note about it for future shipments. This is not the first time that we encountered such issues. But never has it ever happened before to the authority of the receiving country to hold back the fish.

So sorry that Admond is not able to explain to you now as he is outstation. I am sure he will give u a reply once he is back in SGP.

Let's hope that everything will go smoothly and you will be able to retrieve your aro back soon!

Hi guys, don't worry.. from my understanding, the rtgs could have looked bad because they were delayed in the airport for too long. In most cases, the packing system is designed to keep the fish alive for up to 48 hours. Hence, the fishes should not have any problems unless the trip takes longer than expected. But the common practice is to try and get the fish out of the bag within 24 hours.
