The Life Glo 2 bulbs ARE 6700k!! I'm confused as you said you dont need to get any 6700k since you have the Life Glo's, but its the same kelvin rating

I'd know who you're talking to before being disrespectful. I know the hagen line, and I have worked with their bulbs for a very long time. Powerglo bulbs on the same tank as a tank with life glo bulbs will not grow the same plants. At best you can be considered low-moderate lighting, and plants grow terribly slow in comparison. I run Hagens bulbs on three tanks at work, and 5 tanks at home. I have tried running tanks fully setup for plants with power glo, aqua glo, life glo and life glo 2. Both aqua and power glo have the wrong Kelvin temp, and do a much slower job of growing plants, while having algae grow much faster. You also should read up, and do some research, as watts per gallon does not apply to this type of light in the same way (guess you missed that part when you were using the bulbs). I am no noob, I speak from years of experience in this area. So next time, think before you go shooting your mouth off in ways you will regret.Tihsho;2049752;2049752 said:
Keep researching, and reading. T10/T8 from hagen are as follows. Flora glo 2800K, Sun glo 4200K, Aqua glo 18,000K, Power glo 18,000K, Marine glo Pure blue actinic, Life glo 2 6700K.
