Upon further research, this seems to be a bit more hotly debated than what I realized! I've always been under the impression that iodized salt was toxic and that it was not to be used in home aquaria. There are arguments for both sides, and it certainly seems that some fish are more sensitive to iodine than others. Rainbow trout, for example, can only tolerate 1ppm iodine solution! That's pretty low. However, it seems that others, such as yourself, have used iodized table salt with no detrimental affects.
