sup again yall,

im a real diy type guy. i built a nice stand for my 75gallon tank. and now im planning my next build. it will either be 8ftx3ftx30in tall or 8x4x30in (either 600g or 450g). my thing is i want to get my own table saw. i dont want to rely on the cuts at the hardware store. what table saws do you guys like? and since these are some rather big pieces, do you guys build tables to place behind your saws to help support it? buy an outfeed table? need some help..lol?

so when you say rotate the head do you mean the actual saw and rack it slides on? lets say i buy a panel thats 8ftx4ft and i need to cut it length ways so its 8ftx30inches, all i have to do is rotate the saw and track system?

nevermind i just called a friend of mine, and he explained it to me....man sounds like just the ticket i need. just need to find a good model

i forgot where i got mine. im sorry, but you dont need to spend alot. Ive done thousands of cuts on mine.

A table saw is much more versatile than a panel saw. Practically anything you can do with a panel saw you can accomplish with a handheld circular saw and a straightedge.

all panel saws can cut both ways. the one i use every day was 500 dollars.

you just rotate the head like a table saw.
I'm not doubting you. But what brand of panel saw is $500.00. All the ones i've seen are over $1000.00...Plus they are huge. You can get a portable table saw that takes up hardley any space at all for $500.00 or less. Even a cheap ryobi brand will cut whatever you need at home, and I think they are around $200.00. You just need to know their limits. Another option is a circular saw, 2 clamps and a straight edge.
