Give your tadpole water water in the mid to high 70's. That will wake up it's metabolism and then it might start eating.

i will get a pic as soon as my mom gets home, she went out to a party last night. she has the i phone so i just use it, but i cant now. if it helps, when its mouth is open it almost looks like a blood parrot mouth, its a mix f a light brown body color and dark brown markings, its belly is almost white, and right below the mouth it looks hollow and almost see through. and its not very active.

that a bullfrog tadpole 100 % guaranteed from the description:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:D:D:D:D:nilly::nilly::nilly::):););):ROFL::drool::drool::grinno::grinno::naughty::naughty:

i have it that high cuz of the peacock, ill try and drop it a lil bit, if all else fails i will be putting it into the 10 gallon guppy tank im getting today, or just putting it back into a mason jar.

FWIW, get rid of it when it starts developing legs (you have a while before that though). Until then they make great algae eaters. I put mine in my RES tank when he got too froggy... took care of that problem pretty quick. Nastiest form of observing the food chain I have ever seen.

i picked up a ten gallon breeder tank today and have a filter running thats already cycled, so its in there now.

Sounds good s15240drifter. Seeing how I live near you, do you know where the tadpole came from? Possibly the Conodoguinet Creek?

i have no idea, i know that i got it from pets unlimited the other day, do you know how clean that creek is, i was thinking about buying a minnow trap for the summer and cathing my own feeders, do you think the water is clean enough to do that.
