Tail injury still doesnt seem to be healing...

But it was not a tail injury so I could be wrong. But one is more cartilage than the other. I say time and melafix wont hurt if it even does nothing because its all natural.

see, i've used it on fish before for injuries, and it seemed to take the same amount of time healing a wound as just clean water does. it doesn't contain anything in it that really speeds up healing time, nor does it contain anything that would be required to start the healing process.

i and many others find it to just be another one of those money grab products, especially since you'll need a hell of a lot of it in a large aquarium for treatment. you're looking at bottles of the stuff.

not worth what good old clean water can do for little to no cost (depending on your water bill).

I probably wont be using any meds unless i feel theyre absolutely needed..So far it doesnt look any worse and hes not acting dif. or anything so im just gonna keep up w/ the water and continue keepin an eye on it.

best plan of action imo. it'll take some time, but with water changes, you'll see it heal.
keep up the good work.
