As far as I've heard from Mike and Jeff that tank was still up. Granted I think the last conv. I had w/ either of them about it was over a year ago but that tank has always been boasted as a super-long term quasi-trimless layout. Many of the species of plants featured in the tank have grow to proportions never even seen in the wild! I think the pics we've all seen were at least a couple years in already or something crazy like that.
That was one thing that impressed me about it. So many of the greatest planted tank layouts the world has ever seen, in the competition circuit anyway, are created over a matter of months and many times once "the photo" is shot the tank is "done" it's on to the next project.
Long term sustainability in any aquarium has always been something that IMO must be present for true greatness.
Cool! Yeah, I've seen photos of a few tanks designed by Jeff. He's very talented in creating masterpieces all by himself.
