Hey thats funny, if you say the scientific name of ackies the filter *'s it :)

Yes definitely water monitors in south Florida, I saw them trap one on Animal Planet. 4' maybe, not a huge one. Both Colombian and Argentine tegus on the same episode so we know they're there. I wonder how many of the species are actually established and breeding and how many are just escaped/released specimens. I know the iguanas are breeding.

Oh and nice collared, they're very cool.

Burmese, colombians, caiman, nile monitors, the various anoles are all established as well as the ones you mentioned seeing. The Ctensora iguanas are very much here.... in due time im sure the others will establish themselves, if they already havent in the glades.

Bunch of geckos too, house and tokay at least.

Hawaii might have us beat though, with the Jackson's chameleons.

Sounds like the minute you guys walk out your door, its already a wild life adventer. :D Dam, I think I want to take a my vacation down in Florida now. :naughty:

Where I am the exotics seem to be limited to brown anoles and Cuban treefrogs (very cool by the way). Other stuff you have to head south for, go to Miami for those exotic herps (and fish in the canals).

If my male day gecko wasn't such a punk I could have sent you some babies, Alex. They were reproducing like crazy years ago, but the male killed the two females.

Oooo, I like Day geckos. There so... Bright green :D And speaking of Geckos, I have these geckos that hang aroung my patio every summer, but I can't tell what they are. I'll try to get some pics tonight, so someone can tell me what they are.
