Taking care of ducks/ducklings ?'s

3 days and 3 weeks is a huge diff. basiclly chicks are similar. remember warm, dry, clean! i gotta ask where you are getting babbys this time of year?

A friend of mine has a lot of ducks/chickens and recently a whole bunch have hatched?
I'm reading up on both ducklings and chicks from various online sources to be informed as possible.

Not a hatchery, just have a lot of ducks chickens as pets/food/egg producing.

I think it was an accidental breeding?
I dont know all the details, my friends not really into it; she just helps her mom take care of them occasionally and told me they had a bunch of chicks/ducklings.

All that matters is that, I'm pickin' up chicks... for free.

Good luck man. I've raised loads of these guys before, it's pretty easy. Pick up some Purina Gamebird Chow. It's high in protein. You can also add a little water to the food so it's nice and mushy for them. make sure they always have access to clean water but not enough space for them to climb in and swim. Ducks are great pets but they are very messy animals.

had one..named him Bob. Wouldn't stop following me around.

Biggest thing is keep their water and rear ends clean and keep em warm.
