Not argueing, just having a satiracal debate.

I am as chilled as it is possible to be;)
Im am unsure where your other comments stem from but i think everyone (appart from you obviously) is in agrement, that tank is far too overstocked no matter what the size and not all of them are compatable. Also i am not in agreement with all the tank on here i totaly agree there are some very large tanks with far too many fish in them, i think you took my comments far too harshly:D

Obviously you have not learned the fine art of reading internet sarcasm. Yes it will be way overstocked with some growth and no, a number of those fish don't belong together. As for it being overstocked now, if you add it up he is only over the one inch per gallon rule by a little bit.:grinno:

Folks, we need to chill out and take a step back first and look at ourselves before we post topics like this. Fishman, in all honesty, you should expect most people to react like that. MFK is a forum where fishkeeping is taken seriously. It is true that we sometimes need a little bit of humor and breaks from all the intensive discussions however in topics like this, a lot of people fail to see the humor in how a tank is overstocked just like that. We have been through somewhere this point before and so did everyone else so there is no need for most of us to think how pathetic beginners are. It is up to us to encourage them to do things the right way. When you choose to point topics like this to your fellow hobbyists and laughing at the list, what do you expect to accomplish from this? Nothing compared to making a step forward and giving the owner an email asking politely if you could be of help in any way to him.

I believe it. Ive seen tanks this awful before. People think their small tank is HUGE and they go crazy and pack it with any and all fish they like.

Do some google searches too, ive come across random threads in fish forums with stories of people who have a mess of a fish tank.

I read one about this girl who had a 55 PACKED with fish. African cichlids, corydoras, gouramis, plecos, loaches, Red tail sharks and more. AND she wanted to know if she could add more fish!

Some people have no clue.

the best thing is, you don't even need any special knowledge for a properly stocked tank, just look at the tank and at the fish and use your common sense (although that might not prevent overstocking due to the fishe's growth)
lots of idiots out there...:nilly:

It is pretty sad. And this person is obviously a moron at fish husbandry.

Sadly though there are some people on this forum that post stuff that is just as absurb to me, yet people go along with them and tell them what other fish they can add.

Ignorance is bliss, it is the job fellow enthusiast to educate these people.

On that note, the thread has now run its course since almost everything has already been said. Thanks for the input, everyone.
