I know it's pretty bad, but this video has been posted more than once. There's no way for you to have known that, so I'm not flaming you or anything.

Although it's overstocked, all those fish look healthy and it seems he knows what he's doing.

that vids be around for a while the fish don't look that bad he proubly does a 90% water change every 2-3 days though

What's amazing is that the fish do look healthy. the oscars don't even have HITH.

Looks good. What were they eating? Looked like a chunk of frozen bloodworms.

holy crap this guy has a plan for disaster he has a RD, jaguar, tiger oscar, albino oscar, 2 flowerhorn, 1 gigantic pleco, and a huge pacu :screwy: . which to me is way overcrowded, them fish must fight constantly. sucks for him:ROFL:

you guys whine too much about overstocking seriously. This forum is great for information, but their are way too many captain planet wanna-be's on here. Has the thought that the fish you once purchased was being kept in a small aquarium at the LFS with barely any room to move ever cross your mind? I know a huge red devil that has been sitting in his tank at the LFS for over a year. You people complain all day about tank size, yet I know if I purchased that RD he would be a lot happier in my so called small 55g then what he is currently in. Not everyone has the money or room to have a 300 gallon tank in their apartment living room.

I have a newly purchased 1 1/2" Midas and a 6" Buttikoferi seperated in a 55 currently and my Buttikoferi is in perfect condition and always happen to see me. I hand feed him krill, pellets, crawdads, and an occasional feeder. Seriously as long as the fish is in good health that is all that matters because no matter what size tank you get at home you are not going to mimic his natural environment. That dovii that you are keeping in your 180g isn't the same as it living in a Nicaraguan River roaming freely.

bleh!

That doesn't reduce the damage that overstocking can cause. 'It could be worse' is no excuse for anything. With that logic as long as someone is not as bad Hitler it is fine. Overstocking is overstocking and is harmful. As hinted there are ways of reducing the effects, but it is still bad.
