Hey did you get that size info off of Cichlid forum, i have had mine for some time and he is max out at 7 to 8 inches i have never seen a 12" Lemarii and i believe Cichlid forum just has wrong info aye..

Yeah i have some small Nkambe waiting to be a little bit bigger and they will go in with a large female Nkambe..

Yup, the info about these guys on the net is very limited, I guess they are really that rare, lucky for you to have a hand of those beautiful specimen. Staying at 8in would be cool and I wish you goodluck if you have any plan of breeding Nkambae.
