They'll work out the pairing on their own. All males could lead to ww3, a really strong breefbre pair could make everyone else's life miserable. If either of these happen you'll have to remove whoever is being beat on.

Ok, I am really considering them, what happens if I have more males than females or vice versa because there would be some odd ones out? would they fight or just find another shell to live in and same with the julidochromis dickfeldi? thanks
