I am going to pick up a 180 on Saturday if everything goes as planned. It will be a little while before it is set up so I am pondering aesthetics, fish, filtration. I think I might just set up a frontosa tank. I've always wanted to do it. Probably eco complete black/white sand substrate. Lots of rocks/caves etc. I was thinking of adding a few lelupi for a splash of color. Does anyone have any suggestions other than lelupi for color purposes that won't irritate the fronts??

Of course at this point it is up in the air. I could wind up with a gg lol. But in the event I go forward with the front idea, I'd like to get a consensus of my peers.

Alternate non african cichlid options are also kindly accepted. I have seven other aquariums running at the moment. I have none with a 24" depth though so I'd be interested in larger fish options also. You never know when someone will point out an obvious good idea that you can't believe you overlooked.

Never owned a frontosa, but the marine lab where i work has a tanganyika tank with lamprologus brichardi, tropheus, julidochromis, shell-dwellers, and some cuckoo cats.

TRETOCEPHALUS, THERE COMONLY FOUND TOGETHER IN THA WILD. MY FRONT LOVES THE TROPHEUS,BU I WOULD GET AT LEAST 6-8, WICH U HAVE THE ROOM FOR IN A180

Australian Rainbows
They occupy the upper level. Fronts, never both them.
