I had a 14" mpimbwe frontosa eat a 5" electric yellow last month and choke on it... or at least that is my best guess as I came home and he was dead gills flared out and my electric yellow was gone. Now I only keep my frontosa with frontosa 
my frontosa are all adults or very close to it. if you're getting juvie fronts you're looking at at least three for them to hit 12" in my experience.
yea i have 4 benthochromis Tricoti's and Lelupis and a two 3" compressiceps. My opinion is to keep them fed everyday and you'll be fine. I have never had any of my adult WC mobas eat anyone. I would just stray away from the Ventralis area with fronts. Ventralis are too crazy and protective of their area when it comes to breeding. They will nip fins and stress out the tank. On the other hand though there is the Foais and furcifer which are wayyyyyy better looking and wayy more calm and better tank mates with them.
