tanganyikan food

hey im interested in making my own food for tanganyikan cichlids, what would be the best ingredients to use for it?

Depends what kind of Tanganyikans you have.
If just a diverse community a generic food with suffice, but if you specialize, and have for example
Tropheus, they are mainly vegetarian and should be kept with other vegetarians, if you feed to much meat, they will eat it, but they tend to sicken.

i keep mostly carnivore species but this is what i was thinking of.. 1kg of whole shrimp/white fish. 1kg of green peas, 10 ml spirulina powder, 10 drops of multivitamins and 5 drops of garlic extracts.

Sounds good to me, don't forget a gelatin pack to bind it together.
